About SPASA

The Swimming Pool & Spa Association (SPASA) is the peak industry body for the pool and spa sector in Australia and New Zealand. SPASA supports industry growth through exclusive networking, products, and services for its members. We advocate for responsible outcomes that benefit both members and the community, provide training and education to support and grow the industry, while promoting pool and spa ownership.

Our Mission

To protect, promote and grow the swimming pool and spa industry.

SPASA is structured and resourced to support efforts and activities that align with one or more of the organisation’s five key pillars:

  • Foster professional growth across the industry by facilitating diverse career paths through our RTO's full range of training options.

  • Creating education and recognition programs that address industry needs and emerging requirements.

  • Be the primary research and information source for our industry through industry data, insights and trends.

  • Position the industry as a career destination of choice.

  • Develop and execute strategies to retain, recruit, and engage members effectively.

  • Continuously strengthen members services by leveraging research, data insights, networking opportunities, localised and specialised resources, and leadership development initiatives.
