The ACT Government is implementing reforms to address home swimming pool safety. The scheme commences on 1 May 2024, with a four-year transition period for homeowners to make sure that their swimming pool or spa has a safety barrier that meets current safety standards.
The ACT Government will be providing a number of industry information sessions about the scheme ahead of the commencement.
The details of the scheduled sessions are as follows:

Monday 8 April, 8-9am
Tuesday 9 April, 5:30pm - 6:30pm
Tuesday 30 April, 5:30pm - 6:30pm
Thursday 2 May, 8am – 9am
No need to register. Members and stakeholders can simply turn up.
Location:
Ground floor - ACT Government building in Dickson, at 480 Northbourne Avenue.
