On April 11, 2025, the SPASA Golf Day at Sandhurst Golf Course brought together 60 SPASA members for an unforgettable day of golf, laughter, and connection. The course’s reputation for immaculate fairways and smooth greens provided the perfect stage for a day of friendly competition.
The event kicked off with a warm welcome and a delicious breakfast of freshly made bacon and egg rolls, fostering a laid-back, social vibe. The Sandhurst Golf Course team ensured everything flowed seamlessly, creating an inviting atmosphere for all. Region Manager Simon Rutkowski, thanking sponsors and players for their enthusiasm and great turnout. The local golf pro followed with an upbeat briefing, sharing the day’s format and rules.
As players hit the fairways, the Klay Tiles-sponsored drinks cart stole the show, weaving through the course with a steady supply of cold beverages, fueling lively banter and competition during the 18 holes. The golf was a great blending of skill and fun.
Post-round, the group gathered for a lively barbecue lunch, where stories from the course flowed as freely as the drinks. The awards ceremony capped the day with cheers and applause: Spa Electrics won first place, Waterco claimed second, and Blue Marlin secured third. Special nods went to the NAGA Prize winners, Long Drive champs Amanda Hehir and Rob Beswick, and Nearest to Pin aces Joel Cassa and Marie, each moment met with support from all attendees.
